This product is soluble in water, ethanol, insoluble in oil, stable in the PH range of general cosmetics, and can be compatible with cationic, anionic and nonionic surfactants.
Used as a moisturizer, lubricant and foam improver in cosmetics and toiletries.
Used as an intermediate in the synthesis of fatty acid esters.
